Roteec has fleet of neat cars that are road worthy and fit the economic and social status of all customers.
The underlisted terms and conditions create a binding contract on all riders that accept the terms and conditions and Roteec Limited. Riders are advised to read the Terms and Conditions before accepting the Terms and Conditions. A breach of the Terms and Conditions by either party shall resort to the form of dispute resolution stated below.
Any dispute or claim away out of in relation to the terms and conditions of use will be referred to and finally settle by binding arbitration before a state arbitration in Nigeria and governed by the Nigeria law pursuant to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act Cap A18 – Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, as amended, replaced or enhanced from time to time. The arbitrator shall be a legal practitioner trained certified with relevant experience in Nigeria and is independent of both parties. The arbitration award may be entered in any court having competent jurisdiction to do so. The cost of arbitration shall be on the party instituting the action by way of written demand
AMENDMENT AND CHANGES
Roteec may from time to time amend and make all relevant changes as may be necessary for the effective provision of good and affordable transport services. Roteec may notify users/riders from time to time of any change that has been made by mail. Upon notification of the change / amendment, users are deemed to have accepted such change by virtue of their usage
Subject to your compliance with these terms and conditions, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to access and use this application. This license is not transferrable and cannot be sublicensed. In the event that this right is revoked or cancelled, the non-exclusive license is also revoked.
Roteec accepts payment for transport services through in-app payment and cash. While making an in-app payment, personal billing information may be required to verify payment. Additional or sub charges payable for such transaction collected by third party such as financial institutions are not part of the payable amount received by Roteec.
All cards associated with the app for in-app payment must be funded at the time of payment. Roteec allows cash payment to the driver at the end of a trip. In-app payment is subject to the terms and conditions of the third-party payment service. Roteec issues receipt for payment to all registered email address connected to the app. Roteec will take responsibility for the function of in-app payment and any dispute arising from in-app payment not resulting from third party.
PROMOTIONAL CODE / VOUCHER / CODES
Roteec may issue promotional code to deserving rider on our promotional basis / schedules. The right to issue promotional code is reserved. Roteec accepts promotional code towards payment at the end of your trip or ride. Promotional codes are time bound and expiration dates win reflect in app upon application of promotional codes. Promotional codes are used on per trip and the excess of which will be forfeited. In the event that your trip exceeds promotional code, the surplus will be deducted / collected in your authorized / approved means of payment. Roteec reserves the right to cancel promotional codes at any time.
ORDERING AND CANCELLATION
An order is made when a rider request for ride upon receipt of estimated cost and driver/vehicles details. The order is confirmed with a call from the driver to verify the ride. Order is complete, when driver arrives at the pickup location of the rider and the rider is notified of the arrival of the vehicle.
Order may be canceled before the arrival of the driver at the pickup location. Order must be cancelled from the app. When a rider/user cancels order multiple times within twenty-four (24) hours, the user may be blocked temporarily not exceeding seventy-two (72) hours. When a service is cancelled, after the arrival of the requested ride, a certain fee may be charged.
Upon arrival of the ride and the rider does not show up within a specified time, the ride may be deemed cancelled and the cost of the time spent on waiting may be paid by the rider. When a ride does not arrive within a reasonable time, ride may be cancelled and the reason for the cancellation stated.
RENT / HIRE
Roteec is available for rental services subject to the fulfillment of rent conditions stated below:
- Rental must be done by a registered Roteec user.
- Rent request must be done at least 48 hours before the date of the ride.
- Location and duration of rent must be disclosed.
- Rental dues / fees must be paid before the date of rent
- Cancellation of rent must be done by prior notice not less than 24 hours.
- Rent duration exceeding 24 hours and outside the state of rent involves an undertaking for the safe custody of the vehicle rented.
- Delay in return of the vehicle after the expiration attracts 100% loss of rent.
- In the event of damage to the vehicle during the rent duration, the cost of repair shall be borne by the customer / user who rented the vehicle.
- The maximum rent duration is seven (7) days
- Rent can be renewed upon the expiration of seven (7) days.
- The welfare of the driver shall be the duty of the rider, who rents the vehicle.\
- Welfare of the driver includes, but not limited to accommodation, for the duration of rent.
- Roteec reserves the right to grant hire upon application.
- A breach of any of the rent conditions gives Roteec the unreserved right to terminate rent.
LOSS OF PROPERTY
Roteec is not liable for the loss of property during and after rides. The rider has a duty to remove property from the vehivle when disembarking. In the event, that a rider leaves his/her property while disembarking, such property would be in the custody of Roteec for not more that 90 days, after which it will be handed over to the police. In the event that you leave your property, the rider is to notify Roteec via contact address provided in-app, upon the receipt of the complaint, Roteec would conduct a search and make report to the rider within 48 hours, who would then act accordingly. Where a rider receives notice of property being in the custody of Roteec, he/she is to pick such property with 90 days from Roteec. Roteec shall not be liable for any damage to the property while in transit.
Roteec may give general notice on services through electronic mail to your email address in your account. Notices could also be sent to the registered phone numbers. You can give notice to Roteec through contact information in-app. The Terms and Conditions will be governed by and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria if the respective dispute could not be resolved by arbitration. These terms constitute an agreement between you and Roteec.
